Early Fall 2019 - Changes in Meadow Colors, Olympic Mountains

Still lots of color in the wetter areas. The colors had changed from the intense tones of late July and August to more subdued tones in the cooler weather of Fall, but still showed some nice solid colors. The sky was really nice, not long after a thunderstorm, and was reflecting some pink-gold hues.

A bit of down-tilt to increase depth of field. It takes a surprisingly small amount of tilt to get everything in reasonable focus.

The pink-gold reflections go really well with the pastel colours of the vegetation.

From the lovely flowers and plants to the beautiful reflections in the water, this image has it all. The colours are lovely - to the point of looking like a painting. They are nicely not over-saturated. Beautifully done.

It's good that there is a stream running through it. That gives the eye something to follow in that wash of color.
