Hummingbird ready to catch a fly

I was shooting this hummingbird and it wasn’t until I got home that I noticed it was eyeing a small flying insect. As it approached the bird opened its beak to grab it. I don’t know if it caught the bug because I didn’t notice the fly or the beak wide open while shooting. Happy with the resulting shot however
