I'm thinking to buy a used lens from KEH Camera. I don't know anything about KEH Camera. (keh.com) Anyone out there has done business with them? Are they good company to do business with? Am I making a mistake buying a lens from online used eqipment store. I'm buying Canon 24-70mm f2.8L @ $900. Excellent condition lens.

Great reputation. Years ago I bought a small point and shoot from them. My (now) wife thought it was new!

I have bought 3 lenses from KEH Camera, the last two weeks ago. I have found that they are very reliable and there ratings on equipment are very accurate. I have had no problems at all with anything that I have purchased from them. The 3 lenses that I bought are exactly as described and work perfectly.

Absolutely no problems from anything I have purchase. Everything was as stated.

I have numerous times bought from and sold to them with never the slightest problem. If all businesses were like KEH it would be a better world.

I bought a used 500mm lens from KEH costing about $6000. It was immaculate and almost could not tell from a brand new. 10 days later after receiving it and having used it, felt it was too heavy for me. So, decided to return it called KEH and all it took me was less than 5 minutes over the phone to return. Great company and honest to to do business. Definitely recommend to anyone.

I purchased a Tamron teleconverter from them this summer, but decided that it did not meet my needs. As I was trying it out, however, a small gasket detached from the inside, so some might have claimed that I had damaged the product. With KEH, I had no issue in making the return for a full refund even after I told them of the problem. They are high priced but reliable.

I've bought several lenses from them. Fair pricing and excellent service. No worries buying from them.

You are relatively new to the forum as I see. There have been many posts like yours here. B&H, Adorama, MPB, KEH among some others are very reputable companies to make business with. It is alright making business with them buying used gear and in general they offer a very good warranty on used cameras and lenses. The best part is that if you do not like what you bought they will return your money or will give you credit.

They are a very reputable camera company. Their equipment ratings are spot-on and I would recommend them highly. I have only purchased from them and not sold to them , so I cannot speak to that topic.
