I like the pose on the stairs, but there is too much “background” that competes with the lady. Heavy cropping would restore the focus on your model.

Not sure I agree. The graffiti reinforces the fact that this is a public space, which gives a sense of « risk » to the nudity.

I would classify this as an environmental nude so I like the background.

I don't totally disagree on the significance of the graffiti background to make a statement, but I find it somehow too competitive with the model. I can't tell if the graffiti is the message with the nude emphasizing the art, or if the graffiti is supposed to be the contrast to make the nude stand out as the focus.
Perhaps another way to describe it is that I see two elements in the photo: the nude; and the graffiti. To emphasize one as "positive," the other should be "negative." But I see two strong positives in the image and I can't figure out which is the more important. with some heavy cropping the model could become very positive and the remaining graffiti would be a strong contrast to her form. Perhaps the same could have been achieved by having the model much smaller and more graffiti.

I disagree with a few of the latter posters. My feeling is that the model is blending with the background, it becomes one. the colors are great, the pose is perfect, the angle is spot on.

There is definitely a contrast and a story to this image. The nude represents a purity or naïveté , and the graffiti represents urban decay. Is she triumphing over the decay, or will the city suck her in and destroy her? You are telling a story, and I hope you continue on this path as it is very interesting. Also congratulate the model for her courage.
