Removing glare that is covering text

Can anyone help with restoring this photo. Problem I have it the white glare over the text. Maybe cannot be done, but I thought I would give it a shot!

Do you still have access to the album being copied?
If so then redo it with diffused light at an angle to not reflect and produce the glare.

Other wise it is a bit of work to correct the glare.

I think it would be best to type new print, then incorporate onto the rest in a way that looks somewhat natural. Have you posted the largest, best photo you have of this page? I would be willing to attempt it on Friday if no one else does

Tried to make some improvements to the original, without to much success. Perhaps with a lot more time more improvements could be made. Save the original it may mean a lot more as time passes.

I have spent a some time in an attempt to distinguish the last sentence in the document. It may not be the exact documentation as it is the best I could decipher.
