A Fer More Garden Macros (bugs)

This spring, in a corner of my patio, I put quite a few container pots with garden flowers to attract nectar feeding insects. Thought I'd put my new macro to work. Well, I got an assortment of butterflies and other such insects, but also insects that preyed on them. Included were insects that loved to eat the plants. For me, all was fair game. Here are a few visitors.

Very nice set. Looks as if the new lens is working out.

Thanks Mike. Most were hand held. There may have been a couple assassin bug shots where I used a tripod. Usually, these bugs don't stay in one place long enough to fiddle with a tripod.
