We stopped at the small town of Corbridge (population 3500) on our way for a short holiday near the English/Scottish border not long ago.The town lies not far from the world heritage site of 'Hadrians Wall', it has the remains of a large Roman fort and Bridge close by. the town itself is very picturesque with many old old buildings and plenty of Pubs!

St Andrews church, there has been a church on this site since the 8th century, a lot of roman stone has been used to decorate the interior, but due to Corvid 19 the Church was closed!
Thanks for the tour. What each individual stone could tell us!
