I know I'm a bit late late with this - been in hospital for a COVID 19 test (negative) among other things.
Just wanted to say we here in Aussie are thinking and praying for you folk in California suffering those terrible fires. We know what you are going through and you are in our thoughts constantly.
Living north of California we are often overlooked. Oregon. I live between what was two first fires near Mt. Hood in a tiny town called Colton. Smoke hasn’t cleared a fires are far from being contained. The county I live in has virtually been completely burned. Being close to Portland most of our neighbors have been evacuated. In the two northern counties on fire 500,000 people are now sheltered across the state elsewhere, mostly neighboring communities. Rural folk as we are many have livestock, horses even llamas. Moving these critters sometimes is impossible. Yet, it seems as if we all cop in and do what is necessary.
You all have face terrible fire storms of recent as well. I hope all has gone well.
