A couple of more 911 Memorial Light Images and the morning 911 Memorial Remembrance at my Fire Department
Here are a couple of more shots from a different location. We went down to Port Jersey Blvd. in Jersey City to shoot the Statue of Liberty with Lower Manhattan and the Freedom Tower in the Background.
It was very windy down there, which made it extremely difficult to get really sharp images, as from there, I was shooting with my Tamron 150-600mm G2. Even though I was on a tripod, the wind was buffeting my setup. I ended up not extending the legs on my tripod at all, and standing alongside of my camera to try and deflect the wind. The Statue of Liberty shots are not the best, but I think the are at least acceptable and offer a different view of the 911 Memorial lights.
I included some shots of my FD's 911 Memorial this past Friday morning, and a picture of the memorial from 4 years ago.
