This was shot in 1986. I was assigned to the 15th Tac Recon Squadron at Kadena, Japan. We were at Clark AB in the Philippines for a Cope Thunder Exercise. We took about 1/3 of our air mobile lab & intelligence facility for the 2 weeks. I was the day shift lab supervisor. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate so, we didn't have much film to process. I don't have a 5 o'clock shadow. That's just a 34 year old print.
In a lot of ways I think that is what photography is all about, memories.
is that a real book you're reading?
Oh thats 34 yrs ago people did that.
Thanks for your service
I always enjoy sharing someone's past. I hope these were good memories for you.

I will throw in a 1969 image from Osan Korea - 5th Air Force - Tactical Air Controller. Damn I was skinny.
Ah, memories of the service. As long as we’re adding photos, here’s one of me in Vietnam, 1971, Phu Loi Base, 213th Avn. Co, U.S. Army. I didn’t take this, a buddy did, with my camera.

Yeah, that's the look when someone interrupts a good book. :)

Thank you to all who served. I failed to include that earlier when I was attempting to be funny.
I was in the 14th TRS of the 432 TRW IN Udorn, Thailand 1970. And the 12th RITS, 7TH Air force, Saigon, South Vietnam 1971. I was NCOIC of QC and Production Control. I got promoted to STaff' Sergeant my first month in Nam and 2 1/2 months into my 4 year year hitch. Those were the days!!
Thanks for serving your country!!!
