This is the description of "Dark Skies" on Netflix.

"A couple has trouble convincing friends and neighbors that an alien is entering their house each night to terrorize their children." How could they possibly have trouble convincing people of that?

You mean an illegal resident from a foreign country here in the U.S. of A? That would be a simple case of breaking and entering.

Why are supposed adults so fascinated with childish fantasies? I will not watch "action" movies for their unreal effects. Comic book characters? When do these aging children lose their simple fantasies and grow up?

When they stop drooling over and buying the latest camera gear.

I think the comic book movies are just fun and escape for people. Maybe they read those comics when they were younger, and they like to see them brought to like. I'm not a fan, but they certainly bring in the money, and that seems to be all that matters.

My observation is that fully half (If not more) of those people never grow up! That opinion is based on the decals, flags, slogans, and images I have seen their vehicles, mostly trucks, festooned with as they drive about my area of Tennessee.

Until I encountered him and shot him.

Yeah, all that stuff stuck onto vehicles doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose. Kinda immature. I've heard that if you display the wrong decal, that could attract police who hold the opposite opinion.

I enjoy cop shows, shoot em ups and crazy blow up the world scenarios. I like fire, and flying bullets. Maybe I am not grown up, but I find them exciting. I've been on enough sound stages to know how they do things, but I'm always fascinated with what they will blow up next. One of the best scenes ever, when Bruce Wilson sent a car through the end of a tunnel and flying it up into a helicopter. Bye-bye bad guys!
