I thought this lens worked on the Oly M1X without a problem? What does the Oly lens do that this one does not?
Interested
The P/L does not do synch IS with Panny bodies, and vide versa. You have to choose one or the other.
There was also a discussion a year or two back, on the mu-43 forum, about whether or not the weather sealing is fully compatible between brands. The issue was the diameter of the respective gaskets at the lens/body juncture.
Also the Oly takes both Olympus teleconverters, the Panny does not.
Meanwhile, I am withdrawing this lens from the market for now, because i discovered some damage to the lens mount I hadn't noticed before. Look for a photo of that in a little while.
Thanks for posting this. There are trade-offs for sure.
Sounds great. I will contact you when I get home later

I am withdrawing this sale until further notice. Last night in response to an inquiry from an interested party, I photographed the front and rear lens elements, and discovered this crack in the lens mount. Also, that tiny speck near the center of the element appears to be on the inside of the lens.
I am going to contact Panasonic about repairs. Neither issue seems to affect the images I've taken with this lens, and I don't know when it happened, but i can't in good conscience sell this lens as is, at least not for the asking price. The crack is at 12 o'clock, the speck is near the middle of the element. The mount seems to be made of plastic. I could be wrong, but that would help explain it.
