We're already to September, where do you stand?

Did you change from JPEG+RAW to just RAW?
Did you sell the equipment you didn't even use in 2019?
Did you keyword all your legacy images?
Did you replace that flimsy tripod?
Did you watch at least 5 training videos for the software you bought?
Did you create a back-up of your images?
Did you start culling more aggressively?
Did you share more images on social media?
Did you shoot off of auto?
Did you change to mirrorless?
Did you use that prime lens?
Did you buy some film?

The answer is yes EXCEPT I did not change to mirrorless. I like by NIKON DSLR and lens collection.

Great! You can just relax and read the mirrorless reviews and technology innovation awards for the rest of the calendar year.

None of the Effing above. You ought to take up a hobby. Most of us have our own goals and motivations and have managed our lives to successful outcomes for a very long time. Hall monitor not needed.

And hope my hands can handle the weight. But I do use a monopod or tripod as required when i don't hand hold.

Does not apply - 4
Yes - 3

It looks like I responded to 13 out of the 12. I've always been an overachiever.

Therefore, the gentle reminder of the time of the year ...

Seven out of twelve, you guess which ones. It must be nice to have so much equipment that you don't use it all. I suspect that most Hoggers don't fall in that category

Actually, the idea is to have only the equipment you use, not a brag list of redundant cameras and lenses, many unused in years. I fear the population is actually opposite of your assumption, just read the tag lines ....

There are a few things on your list that I've been telling myself I need to do/change but ..alas.. have not accomplished. Although some may judge you as somewhat of a nag, I personally, got a chuckle out of your reminder. I'm gonna try harder!

Thank you DDM! Sometimes an external reminder helps on an internal commitment.

My goal is simple this year. Stay alive. At my age, getting COVID-19 is like having a 5 chambered revolver with 4 bullets in it and playing Russian roulette. I really hope I don't get it. Even leaving my retail second job hasn't helped my photography since my "Honey Do" list is very long from having had two jobs so long and there are very few places to travel to without have some kind of increased risk of COVID-19. Maybe next year will be a better year to answer your questions.

I've been much the same way. I haven't eaten in a restaurant, not even carryout, since February. No out of town trips, with things like Oshkosh cancelled anyways. But, I've spent more time discovering / revisiting my neighborhood in Chicago, more so than since my first summer in 1990. Staying safe is a noble goal in itself.

I resemble those remarks too.

Nice list of goals.
No desire to change And spend hours processing raw. I shoot raw if the situation warrants raw.
I bought even more equipment I don’t use
Key wording is like maintenance on a ship... it never ends (unless the ship sinks).
I have a good solid tripod
I didn’t buy any software. (But I have been watching photography tutorials.)
Already have multiple backups
Yes I have started throwing away less bad stuff
I hate social media
I thought fully automatic weapons were illegal?
I have been shooting mirrorless since circa 2005
