LG Rebel 4

Does anyone have/use the LG Rebel 4 ? It's the 8.1.0 OREO.
I have one ordered to replace an old (7-8) year old Samsung cheap cell phone that I purchased for urgent or emergency calls. My old phone is stuck on airplane mode and is useless except for 911 calls and checking the time. I was assured that this one does not have airplane mode which is the reason I bought it. Plus it was cheap from Tracfone.com If you have one, how do you like it?

Have you tried removing the battery, waiting a few minutes to give it time to reset itself, then putting the battry back in? Sometimes that's all it takes to get a phone up and running right again.

Yep. That was the 3rd. thing I tried. The only thing I haven't tied is bashing it with a ball peen hammer.

We have two of those phones and like them. The case is slick making them easy to drop, so we have purchased covers that have some texture.

I have some concerns about that same thing. I dropped my other phone from short distances on semi hard surfaces and it survived but this phone is quite a bit heavier. I'm going to look into some kind of protective cover. This is my first experience with a smart phone, so there's a lot to learn. It woke me up 3 times last night with notifications. It didn't take but a few seconds to locate the "silent" mode after I got up to eat breakfast.

Did that. Gave them a new password, confirmed pw. It's still in airplane mode.
I don't have an emoji for pulling out my hair.
Oh well, I can still use it for 911 or telling time.
