I was out walking the dog yesterday and was able to capture some interesting shots. The sky was all smoky, lending to a warmer cast on the images...even the ones taken in the shade. Hope you enjoy these.
Excellent photos. I like what the smoke has done to the available light. My brother-in-law lives in Salt Lake City and the air quality is so bad that everyone, even if you are healthy and have no respiratory problems, are told to stay indoors
A truly great series, and the sky color adds an interesting look.
We can see some of the haziness from the fires here in southern AZ.

Super capture of that rarely held-for-a-picture casual resting pose of that western red-tail!
Great portrait!
Dave
Another excellent set, David!

No photographs of your dog? ;-)
Seriously, superb photos and I especially like the photograph of the hawk.
A fantastic set David! Of course I'm partial to your dragon shot. Well done.

Excellent set and very well taken
Great photos even with the smoke. The Red Shouldered Hawk is my smokey favorite followed by the Wren.
