Canceling Apple TV. Is it Possible?
I signed up for Apple TV to watch that Tom Hanks WWII movie, which I saw last night. Now, I can't find a way to cancel Apple before they charge me another $7.00. I haven't been able to watch anything else on Disney unless I buy the movie or watch it on an Apple device. I guess I could buy a $1,000 iPod and watch on that. I wonder if an old iPhone would work using Wi-Fi.
When I go to the Apple site, there is no sign-in option. I clicked on the "Join" link, and my sign-in credentials popped up. I filled them in, but that brought me back to the "Join" page. I clicked on my icon, and the choices were "Settings" and Sign Out." Clicking on Settings brought me back to the page encouraging people to sign up. So, basically, I can't do anything.
Looking online, it says to click on Settings, and that will let me cancel, but as I said above, there are no settings.
I added a picture of what I get when I click on Settings - another opportunity to click on Settings.
Any ideas?
Call 800 MYAPPLE. it's as simple as that.
Sounds like the Hotel California.....
In settings: click on the name at the top of the 1st page. Next screen, click Subscriptions (4th item down on mine). I think Apple TV will be on the next screen with an option to cancel.

More like the Roach Motel.
Thanks. I saw that page, so I guess I'll have to go to my Mac and see if I can cancel from there. I'm disappointed that I can't watch anything my TV. After all, it is called "Apple TV." Imagine watching a movie on an Apple watch or iPhone. I want my 55" screen!

The only thing I get in Settings is the picture I posted above. I can't get beyond that page - I have no settings available.
If I cancel my credit card, it will take me almost two weeks to get a new one.
OKAY. I kept trying all sots of things - things that didn't really make sense, and I somehow got to Account Settings. And I'm out!
Thanks, everyone, for your help. Next step will be canceling Disney in a few days.

Jerry - You can only access the Apple TV+ streaming service on an iPhone, iPad, Smart TV or by connecting a device known as "Apple TV" to your TV as long as your TV has an HDMI port. If you need assistance cancelling your service simply call 1 800 APL CARE. PM me if I can be off further help.

Jerry, to cancel an Apple app you need to open your iPhone to the settings screen and at the very top above the Airplane Mode setting is your account. Click on that and then click on “subscriptions”. It shows your apps that you pay a monthly fee for. You can unsubscribe from Apple TV there I think.
Edit.
Not real sure, but maybe you could even find Disney + on that setting too.

Do we know if, in fact, the OP has an iPhone or other relevant Apple device?

Why yes we do. Here’s a quote from him earlier in this subject line.
“Thanks. I saw that page, so I guess I'll have to go to my Mac and see if I can cancel from there. I'm disappointed that I can't watch anything my TV. After all, it is called "Apple TV." Imagine watching a movie on an Apple watch or iPhone. I want my 55" screen!”
So we know positively that he has a Mac. And on that Mac it’s settings-Apple ID-manage subscriptions.
