I have about six or eight female Ruby Throated Hummingbirds (hard to tell exactly how many...they won't sit still) at my feeder every day. There are one or two males around but they don't stand a chance at the feeder being outnumbered four to one by the feisty females. I finally had the time to set up my rig on the porch and shoot away.

All pics are SOOC except for cropping and minimal exposure correction. Taken with a Canon EOS 7D, Canon EF500mm f/4 L IS USM and Canon extender 1.4X iii. Exposures are 1/2,000 - 1/2,500 @ f/6.3.
