Smat move, Erik. I left my trusty Stihl Farm Hand chain saw behind 6 years ago when we moved to Utah.

Had a couple of walnut trees that were killed but lighting. Them and a huge maple trimed. It was amazing to see the guy climb around. BTW he used a Stihl saw as well. Said when need it , it just works.

I’ll be using mine on a much smaller tree tomorrow.

Excellent shots, obviously the guy knew what he was doing. I live in a Winter Texasan Resort that has about fortuy acres or so and all of our lawn care equipment was Stihl except the mowers. They were Snapper. Stihl at that time didn't have a zero turn mower. But Stihl is very reliable, a little spendy but reliable

My dad had quite a few jobs during his lifetime but I believe his favorite was working in timber. Also his Winter's source of heat was a wood burning furnace in the basement. In 2004 when my dad was 88 years old we siblings had that furnace ripped out and a gas furnace put in. He really missed his wood heat but we felt at 88 he had no business in the woods alone with a chain saw.

I don't know how to tell you this, but if someone told you those were pines you were purchasing, you got taken.

Nice shots, Erik. What those kinds of guys can do with a big tree is amazing to me. I have a pole saw and a 14”, but I’m not interested in doing the big work. That’s for the professionals.

Cut 'em down before they fall on the house during a storm. vz

I really don't know what you are talking about cahale. These are indeed pine trees and I'm not purchasing them as I already own them. vz
