Nice series of photos again, Joe. I am particularly impressed with the seventh photo.
Thanks John - glad to see that you like the "Leaning Towers of Abu Dhabi", they are quite intriguing. Joe

A terrific tour...we all enjoyed you documenting this part of the world for us and better than PBS's "Travel Channel".
Thank you very much Jim, I am very happy to hear that this tour finds that much appreciation - we are setting out for the "final glory" today in Dubai!

Once again, thanks for taking me along with those exquisite shots.
Thank you very much Tdearing for your kind comment - it is a joy to have appreciative people along for the ride!
Thank you Blair for the wow and I am happy you still like this series, see you starting today in Dubai!
I was there several times in the late 70's and - of course - don't recognize any of it. Then I think the tallest building was my hotel down by the water.

Thank you Harald for looking in again on my travelogue and taking the time to write a comment - much appreciated. Yes, that area has seen tremendous changes over the last 40 years, and while I cannot comment on that in Abu Dhabi, as this was my first visit, I certainly saw the difference in Dubai, from where I just started to post the first set today about an hour ago. If you also visited Dubai, then you will definitely remember some of the old parts along the Creek, which is on today's title shot and will come up in more details in a few days, after I get the modern stuff out of the way!
Thank you Michael - glad you liked these - I invite you to have a look at today's post on Dubai! (find it easily under "Newest Topics". Joe
