Thank you so much Donna, I love Corel painter, but it has a steep learning curve, I would not start with it, I would start with Corel Painter Essentials, very cheep, good to get your feet wet to see if you like it or not, I'm sure someone like you would, Great winter projects for learning how to paint, ton's of video's plus I can help get you started all you have to do is ask.
It's not just for painting, I have fix or modify or change and edit pictures with it.
One of the reasons Corel painter has a steep learning curve is learning all the some 1500 brushes and what they do, I have a My brushes catalogue that only has about 12 brushes in it that I use all the time, That makes it easy.
