went up to the Mt Baker area to shoot the sunrise this morning. at 6 AM the fog was so thick you could cut it with a knife, but by 7:00, it had mostly cleared away, and by the time the sun peeked over the top of Mt Shuksan at 7:50, all that was left was the haze in the air from the wildfires on the other side of the mountains...

Sinatraman, the "star effect" is simply a function of a small aperture. this was shot at f/18 specifically to achieve that "starburst" pattern... ;)
