Very kind of you and much appreciated. Hope you and everyone else reading this stay safe as well. Here in China, things are actually getting better, although there is a fear of another outbreak. We spent 4.5 months in the apartment under quarantine and my wife and I both worked from home the entire time. Lessons learned: Wear a mask in public, distance, wash hands regularly and have a great sense of humor. Again, prayers for your health and safety.

No, this is in a lake, so it is simply aquatic plants. The trouble is if there are fish in the same water, or if they are growing rice, it will kill them. I think, if my Chinese is correct, they are prepping this for rice. Although here in China (and Japan, and much of the Asian Rim) they do eat seaweed and if prepared correctly, is quite good, particularly with Sushi.

I have never been to China but from the documentaries I watch it is a wonderful country, full of different cultures, depending on where in the country you look. So glad you are getting along well in this great country governed under communist idealogy. You are contributing much to the learning of photography and the government of China sees no threat or opposition to communisim so you are being allowed.
