We rode on the Joseph Branch Railriders, a train propelled by your own pedal power, 12 mile round trip with great views of the Blue Mountains and Wallowa valley Ranches and Farms. The last hill was kind of tough.

Very interesting images and info on pedal power. Approximately people have to pedal power? On all level ground?

Stan, there are 2 person and four person cars, your group supplies all of the momentum. The first 6 miles to Enterprise is mostly down hill, then you turn around and go back up. Its not terrifically steep, but the steepest part is the last stretch, which both my wife and myself really felt in our thighs, we are in our 70's, it is certainly doable. They do have motorized help for those that need it. The scenery does look different from each direction
