The democrat slogan, which biden has often repeated, is that The Rich do not pay their :fair" share of taxes. Assuming that's true, over 50% of wage earners do not pat their fair share. A wage earner earning 50,000 per year, with 2 children. do not pay ANYTHING. Not only that they get a check fron the Government. Not only do they pay nothing, they GET PAID to not pay any thing.. The wealthy pay 90% of the taxes The less wealthy pay the other 10%. Is that fair? Those democrats, inclucding biden. complain that the billionares also don't pay their fair share. But they purposely confuse the people to actually believe thatthose billionaires actually earn 1 billion or more each year. They dont as most of those billions are nothing more than x or 0 in computers. Stocks, bonds etc. Biden says hewants to remake the country. I do not want to remake the country, that has brought more wealth to more people than any country in the world. With all it's flaws those who live here are nliving in the vest place, with more opportunity to sucede than any other country. I don't believe that any other country has a higher number of people who risk their lives to get here.

So, years ago, maybe you remember some one else say something else about something else. YAY!

I got an idea. Anybody under $10/hr 2000hrs/yr pays 5%. Scale it up. $150k/yr is 25%.
NObody pays less than half. No matter how many deductions, lawyers, writeoffs- don't matter.
Remember "Citizens United"? All Corps- frpm Exxon to El Churrito. Pay up.

Only problem is that 50% soon becomes 75% when state and local and real estate taxes are added. So that 50% is confiscatory. And force people (as it now is doing) out of high state tax states. No state income tax states are attracting people to them. People are moving out of N.Y. and Ca. and going to Fla and texas.. I have friends and familly members who have done exactly that. They maintain the homes in NY MA and Ca and spend 6 1/2 months in Fla and Texas to avoid the high taxes.

EVERY body pays something. No less than half.
And I agree. Badly managed over extended states (JERSEY!) are losing out. Not the Fed's fault or doing.
Too- high state and other local taxes reduce home values by a close amount. You pay about the same amount, but you get a lot less in return. Except for richer politicos.
We're going too. Also. My dear sweeet loving young wife is retiring this year. We'll be outa here.
