Man pushing photographer into pond.
No, I can't! He deserves to have that 70 - 200 Canon L shoved down his throat and the DSLR up his a--!

Watching this made me angry. What an a__hole.
The photographer could show the video to the police. It's assault. The idiot could also be sued to recoup money for a damaged camera and lens.
I agree with the comments above - however the a-hole is probably on the dole and doesn't have a penny to his name.

I believe that this is an assault. They have pretty good photos. Bring them to the local police station and swear out a warrant. And the sue him for all kinds of things

And he, ladies and gentlemen, is your typical school bully all grown up hasn't changed a bit. I've known two of them. When they get shown up they turn into a coward and just walk away putting the whole thing out of the mind. I hope that photographer turned him in.
I can’t believe that assault. It’s not funny and a serious loss of property. Nine times out of ten this clown is without a home, a job and a dollar to its name. Worst of all taking this fool to court will be a complete waist of time. The best thing this clown should get is a B-B-B. Even if it is illegal, a Baseball Bat Beating is just what it deserve with that stupid smirk walking away.
Better to use that lens than a baseball bat.
Disgusting!
Think about this- the person that made the video knew what was going to happen and seemingly egged the bully on. He is complicit in this attack. All those other folks complained but did nothing to detain the bully and call the police- right there and then!
Does that bully have to be a sociopath- a dangerous individual who randomly attacks people for fun? What kind of person pushes someone into the water- suppose the victim sustained an injury, had a medical condition, or drowned?
In most civilized countries that's are gotta be a serious crime- assault and battery, damage to property, criminal endangerment- the equipment is the least of the matter. Besides the criminal charges, the perpetrator would be liable to civil action and have to pay damages.
I am not a violent person but if I were the victim of such an attack, I would come out of the water and lay some serious hurt on that imbecile. The police would have to arrest him at the ER- In England or Australia, they call the ER the "Casualty" Unit. After the body cast comes off they could transfer him to the psychiatric ward!
Part of the system. Part of the culture.
Catch the robbers: "This ain't yours! This ain't your business! You got no right!"
Call the police. They want to know who you are and why are you doing this.
Catch the thief. He throws it away. "I ain't got it! You can't catch me! I'm doing nothing right now!"
Call the police. They want to know who you are and why are you doing this.
All those onlookers just don't want to get involved. There's the bad guy, and some friends.
You don't them coming after you, right? The police won't do anything until the bad guys get caught.
Call the police. They want to know who you are and why are they doing this to you.
You'll need a lawyer to defend yourself from the bad guys, their lawyers, and the police.
Meh. I don't want to get involved. As long as they don't come for me ...
I would probably be serving time in jail if he did that to me.

I was thinking the reverse order, but I can compromise on that and give it to him your way.
