Before the Boston and Baltimore game tonight ALL the players were kneeling at a Black Live Matter on field showing. This kind of political activity does not belong on the field at thye start of the game. what's more kneeling is a submissive act. Off the field, fine--that is their right. This kind of submission to a political statement is an obscene display. One might even argue that '' Black Lives Matter" is a racist statement

I believe I have voluntarily ceased watching baseball, NFL, and probably a lot of other sports, as well.

It’s only racist to a racist. To others it’s a statement of fact.

And the fact is ... what? Black lives Matter? That's a joke. The blacks through all their murders of each other have shown us over and over that they only care about number one.

No, the racists - such as yourself - claim its fact.

I'll not slide to name calling or even insults for name calling. I'll just remind you that in formal debate, informal debate, and even in the English department within persuasive essays, facts, or opinions based on facts are required. Failure to include those will lose the debate or earn an F on the paper. So, for every time I see you post an accusation of racism, I'll copy paste the following:

If I really were a racist and wanted to make sure that the black community stayed at the bottom of the earning tier, stayed as dependent as possible on government, and stayed angry, here's what I would do.

1) If I were a racist, I would make sure the media were constantly portraying the black population as powerless to affect change in their own lives.

2) If I were a racist, I would make sure to keep black fathers out of the lives of their children by giving a financial reward to single mothers.

3) If I were a racist, I would promulgate the message that the police are evil.

4) If I were a racist, I would suggest that being black requires adherence to a group mentality and excludes individual thought or opinion.

5) If I were a racist, I would take some of the most capable intellectuals in the black community and send them off for college in institutions that are a tier or two higher than their preparation, ensuring that the dropout rate for a group of high achievers is artificially high.

6) If I were a racist, I would make sure all public discussion of the situation of race relations or the black community focused on the past instead of the future.

7) If I were a racist, I would encourage protest and anger in the black community over external issues to prevent discussions of internal issues.

In short, I'd adopt Democrat policies and positions.

Just a hypothetical question for you. Would a racist proclaim, as Big Babylon did in Tulsa ...

"The Bad hombres Are Coming for the white women!"?

I've said versions of what I'm about to say something close to 100 times. I support President Trump ONLY in the realm of policy. He is, in a great number of ways, a dolt. His bad hombres comment was, as I recall (I don't watch the rallies) a terrible attempt at a callback to his Hillary debate comments which were directed to illegal border crossings, not a particular race. An analysis of Trump's previous comments would indicate a hyper-pride in America to the detriment of his opinion of other cultures, that Trump is hyper-nationalist rather than 'racist'. Like I said, a dolt.

However, because the other side is espousing policy that I mentioned in my previous post, as well as abject idiocy like The Green New Deal, reparations, cancelling history, the Marxism within BLM, and several other evils, I'll gladly cast my vote for a flawed man overseeing better, sane policy (overall, I'm critical of taking any action on transgender issues and I actually think Trump waited 3 weeks too long to crack down on violent protests and believe Trump chose two SCOTUS judges that were far inferior to a couple of female nominees) than to vote for the dissolution of America.

What's so sad here is that because the President is so eager to make deals, had the left decided to stroke Trump's ego, he would have bent over backwards to make deals, likely governing FAR more progressively. Trump could not have resisted making deals that he could aggrandize himself for having made. We could have had a good deal of calm, but, as usual and as espoused in Rules For Radicals, Hillary accused Trump of potentially refusing the election results, but then did so herself. That, along with a stilted media, set the stage for 3.5 years of non stop warfare on everything Trump, including the millions of Americans who still support an America first attitude, who recognize that, despite imperfections and historic application of laws and rights that was wholly unequal, America today is the least racist nation around. (Find me another nation where a minority of 13% dominates every discussion of law and policy.) In fact, find me a nation with a 13% minority elected as a national leader. Twice.

As to the bad hombres, they are definitely coming to town, but it has nothing to do with white women. It has to do with intentionally disintegrating the entire social fabric for now and for the future over things than effectively none of us alive today have done. It's a sad reality that our choice in November will be divisive figurehead espousing policy I (overall) support or Socialism and runaway disintegration of the society. Given that choice, this man will, logically not emotionally, choose Trump. I've had this argument over and over with family, co-workers and esteemed photographer colleagues, and with almost no exception, I find that those who don't like Trump are voting, predominantly, against Trump, not the policy he espouses, and certainly not FOR the policies I've cited. Choosing policy based on emotion is how you end up with Japanese internment camps in the 40's, which was distinctly BAD policy.

As long as they weren’t kneeling during the National Anthem it is OK by me. But then I didn’t pay hundreds of dollars to watch a football game and have a political demonstration forced on me.

Black Lives Matter is focused on the wrong problem and going about it the wrong way.

Gee, a sensible position. I’m impressed!

PS: keep in mind Obama is as much white as he is black.

Regardless, it does not belong on the field. As I said, kneeling is a sign of submission' There is no good reason to submit to ANY political statement. I am a Trumpsupporter. I would nor kneel to trump. My wife is Catholic I am not. As a courtesy I mwould attend Mass with her. I did kneel during the service. Not one person said one word. And yes it's a racist statement. It means exactly what it says. Not ALL LIVES matter. only Black lives
