With baseball season finally beginning, how about a list of the greatest home runs of all time. Here are three to start the list.
Bobby Thompson's home run to win the pennant for the Giants
Babe Ruth calls his shot (whether he really did or not)
Kirk Gibson's home run in the first game of the '88 world series
Carlton Fisk 1975 World Series. Red Sox vs. Reds.

Beating the Yankees, no less. All of us who hated the Yankees will remember Mazeroski forever!!
Aaron Boone’s homer (NOT). I’m a Sox fan so that was miserable. 2003 playoffs and Boston had blown a big lead in the 8th

Consider adding:
Bucky F****ing Dent, 1978 Game 163 Tie-Breaker
Joe Carter 1993 Game Six Walk-Off to win the WS

Especially since Bill was a defensive wiz.
You know that grand slam that Johnny Damon hit against the Yankees in the 7th game of the playoff series in 2004 was a big one. Took the air right out of the building 😀

My personal favorite was Bartolo Colon's home run, which was his first at the age of 42.
Which also made him the oldest pitcher to hit a home run.
His trot around the bases took something like and hour to complete...lol just kidding, it was more like 30 seconds.
He is one of my favorite pitchers of all time....he just always seemed to truly always be having fun playing the game, as it should be as it is just a game.
