One of my favorites flying back from the west coast and another local. Been watching the clouds since I was a little tyke. I hope to see a lot of response to this. Mark
In May and June this year I was treated to quite a few days of stunning colors and cloud formations shortly before and after sunrise. Built up my cloud library (for composites, textures and playful pp) quite extensively
Well, nothing exceeds, quite like excess David. This is an SOOC shot from my old D80 in 2017.
“... nothing exceeds like excess“. I do like that. Mike! I’m trying to imagine it as a profundity in Latin!? Thanks for the striking contribution! Dave

Your first shot is great! I haven't flown in some time shooting from above the clouds for a shot like yours. You are probably aware I do composites. I would be pleased if you would let me use that photo for some composite work. Everything in my composites are authorized and never stolen that's why I'm asking. You probably wouldn't recognize your photo when composited with other elements but I still wanted to ask. Jim
....and sometimes they just aren't enough. I entered this in a photo contest because I thought the perspective of the cloud being at the same level basically as the camera was interesting. Judge did not agree. I still like the photo.
