I'm partial to views where the subject is facing toward the camera. #2 is a true classic and #5 fits my toward-the-camera preference.

You shoot too good, so hard to choose. I like #5 for the air-bornes. If there is any more room at the top to give a little more space to the top of the wing, leave it in. If not, just be sure no printing or matte covers any part of the wing. #3 is the best composed, color-arranged for the on-the-flower shots.

Each and every one of them is beautiful in their own way. If I had to choose only one I would pick number five but it was a tough choice!

Reconvic,
Congrats. I cannot remember seeing photos of butterflies in flight. Great work. Your image of the Pipevine Swallowtail was terrific (including it's tongue). Fabulous detail. How close were you with your 600mms?

Print them all 16x20. Frame and hang your favorite in your house. Give away the rest.

Butterflies have a side that is more attractive than the other. The Giant swallowtail for example is lackluster on it's backside. The front (ventral) is gorgeous! Thanks CHG for all your help in the past!

Yes, #5 (Giant swallowtail) is all the space I have! Thanks, ELNikkor!
