Crazy world with no LEADERSHIP on COVID 19.

GAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Between a pandemic and political polarization, environmental ignorance and racial discrimination, social media dependency and drug addictions, and the pitiful state of education among our general population, we certainly have plenty of challenges.
But this is the USA. Don’t write her off just yet!
What? Biden and Sanders know what to do, they are just not telling.
To be honest with you.....I am really sick of all this rioting....burning and looting.....all this " defund the police"...." disband the police"..BS..
I believe that EVERYBODY should have the same rights and be treated the same....BUT this BLM bs is going too far.....take a look at Stone Moutain Ga last week you had a group of militants armed with rifles and hand guns...dressed in all black stopping people in their cars asking them for money for the suffering they have been through.....and there us lots more...
America is what an individual makes of it. Many make it their place of success, build loving families and pursue happiness while others make it their place of loneliness, disappointment and misery.
Given choices of other places that one could be on this planet, ours appears to be the better choice which is why immigration here is so important to so many.
When things appear to get crazy for me, all I have to do is stop for moment, take a deep breath and recall the Serenity Prayer:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. and then I mentally close with, "This too shall pass."

If and when we start going further down the tubes, people won't be as eager to immigrate to the US.
I certainly hope it passes........

on the environment:
We are trashing our planet, there is no planet B. When we push the environment past the breaking point, humans will die off and nature will take over (again). We are not the most successful animals to inhabit this planet. Nature will reclaim the planet a lot faster than it took for us to destroy it. At present course I think we have a couple of hundred years to go before we reach the point of no return
on present politics:
Every great political empire in history lasts about 200 - 250 years, we are seeing the beginning of the end for the US as a great world leader. This country is broken into pieces and the political powers that be are so focused on their own immediate agenda they can't agree on a future. The founding fathers were ordinary people that had an extrordinary vision of the future, they attempted to plan a system of government that would last hundreds of years into the future, and they did. They knew they couldn't plan for every eventuality so they created a system that would allow future leaders to adjust the laws to accommodate situations they knew they could never imagine. That was their genius. Unfortunately as time passed, political leaders got lazy and stopped considering what was best for the next generation and only considered what was best to win the next election. They lost the vision of the future.
I've read lots of criticism about what is going on. Not one has offered what they'd do if they were in charge. I'm at a loss, especially because I can't trust the numbers anyone is presenting. There are too many reports that the stats are wrong. If Corvid 19 is as bad as it is being presented to be, I can understand a lack of leadership due to the overwhelming problem with apparently no solution. Add to that hospitals are given money for each Corvid 19 diagnosis*. The money is graded as the more the hospital does the more they get. Diagnosing Corvid 19 and become very profitable.
My question is usually what would you do if you were in charge? I haven't received a sensible answer yet. In light of what's going on in the U.S., anyone who wants to be president, that means the campaigning, the scrutiny, the attacks, and ultimately the responsibility if victorious, anyone who wants that isn't mentally sane enough to do the job.

If you're sick of it then that equates to a vote for Trump. These troubled times are funded and promoted by the Democrats. They will not sleep until they have ruined the Country with their politically correct BS, the cop hating, the racial dividing, the promoting of socialism on and on and on.
Give them another four years of Trump and maybe they'll leave.

Easy to blame the democrats, not so easy to put the blame where it belongs: the lack of leadership in Washington, DC, specially the senate and the white house.
What I would do if I was POTUS: End the electoral college, term limits on all elected positions, put protecting the environment as one of the top priorities. Overhaul the education systems and the health systems. And on day one reverse most if not all of trumps EO's. Also, would develop a national system to protect voters rights.

As I said this country is in pieces and nobody want to consider what is best for the future. We need to clean up our environmental act. consider this, in the few months of lock down across the globe, smog levels were greatly reduced. My daughter who lives in Brooklyn NY commented that she can actually see the statue of liberty from her window for the first time in years without all the pollution.
This country has a long history of prejudice and bias against all immigrants, aside from the native Americans, we are ALL immigrants and look how we treat the native Americans. As Americans we must all do our part. Don't just complain about what's wrong, DO something about it, VOTE, be active in community events, don't judge someone because they didn't do what you expected - you never know what is going on in someone's life, don't rush to judgement. Practice compassion.

It must be nice to have someone to blame for all the problems. You light a match, starting the field afire and blame the firemen for not saving your house.
