Here's one for Republicans. We know you'll never vote for Obama, that's a given. If you now had a choice between voting for one of the following candidates which one would you vote for?

Santorum
Gingrich
Cain
Romney
Bachman
Paul

No comments needed, I'm just curious as to how strong Romney's support is among Republicans at this point.

It matters not about Republican thoughts among these choices. That has already been decided, leaving only one choice at this point!

My question was a hypothetical, wondering if Republicans would change their minds if they could have a do over.

Seems as if some Republicans don't want to answer the question. Do you think your party leaders really screwed you this time?

Any of them would be better than Obama's failed policies

"RULES", the only rules that any politician play by is the ones they make up after they have won their election....Dem or Rep...they are in it for themselves. Tell the people what they to hear to get elected and then it is any Liar for themselves....How many lies have been told thru the years during this or any other election ????? This is a country where the rich get richer and the middle class keeps on making them that way.....You always hear that the rich are the ones who create the jobs then hire the middle-class to do the hard work so they can become richer..This is true...However, the only reason they do this is because they would never get their hands dirty doing hard and dirty work themselves...This was once a great country but these so called Public servants have torn it down. Our Government allows jobs to be shipped overseas where people will do the work much cheaper....Wake up voters, there is no clear choice in this presidential election. The winner will be the one who tells the best lies...Maybe they should save all the money that has been wasted on their lie filled campaign and just flip a coin and beast out of three wins the election...No more lies needed, no more boring barrage of TV campaign commercials, no more taking money from the rich with the promise of a few favors in the future and no more political rants from someone like me who has no idea about politics but knows that it is the politicians who are screwing up this once Great Country...OK, I am finished....wait, one more thing. How do you know when a politician is lying? When his lips are moving...OK, now I am finished....except I hope this makes all you voters mad as hell for more than just the obvious...lol. now get out there and vote for the man of Of your choice....

I wonder whether Democrats would vote for Hillary over Obama if they could have a do over. Or maybe Edwards even. 8-)

Fact of the matter is that politicians play by the rule "What do I say that will get me the votes" The key factor is not the "...do I say..." but rather "...will get me the votes...". I think that speaks more poorly of the voting public than it does of the politicians!

Has anybody questioned Obama's statement that he wants to remake America - starting with the middle class? I have seen no report presenting or even seeking definition of what he means by "...remake..." - it's been left for people to apply what they themselves want it to mean; he is a master at that!

He's is one of the few elected politicians who have carried out their promises, and this scares the xxxx out of me: higher gas prices, destroy fossil fuel industry, redistribute the wealth, to name some.

My definition of what he means is to make the U.S.A. at best a socialist society if not a communist one. I base my conclusions on the reported mentors of his early years - Alinsky, Ayers, Dohrn, Wright - and the impressions caused by what I have heard him say.
