A seventy year old newbie

Hello from West Palm Beach, Florida... Prior to 2011 the last slr I owned was a canon A1 years back.. I am now trying to learn all the new things about my canon 7d...... I hope to be posting once I stop stumbling ;-)

Hi there and welcome. I am a 70 year old newbie to this site also as I have just joined recently. Like you I had a Canon A1 all those years ago as well. Have since changed to using Nikon but either brand is great in my opinion. It`s more to do with the person behind it I`ve found out no matter what camera you have. Enjoy the site and I look forward to seeing some of your work in the future.

Am 77 and hike in the mountains with a hike club 3 time a week. See photo albums by clicking below the frame.

Nothing wrong with being a newbie, welcome to the hog beamer. I use a 60D...just start shooting, you will learn fast.
