Owners have a more modern house about 100 yards away.
This structure seems to be used for raw storage, and is kept up,... somewhat.
Note the water well on the right. A small privey is about 30 yards away.
Que the banjo and guitar.
Great shot. There is problem with the porch support on the left corner. The bottom block will break because it is placed on its' side. Weakest point.
Good shot. But from what I can see in the photo, with a little materials and workmanship it would serve as a vacation home in a beautiful place
Log Cabin, well, outhouse....life was simple in those days. I recall my Uncle that lived in the California desert near Needles had an outhouse a few tens of yards from his shack and there was even last year's Sears and Monkey Ward (Montgomery Ward to you city folks) catalogs in it to use for the obvious purpose! (As well as reading material!) There was running cold water from somewhere in the shack but no water heater. Just the essentials for a Desert Rat! He worked in the shops for the Santa Fe RR. This was in the 1940's.
