I wonder if it's a carnivorous virus?! Anyway, it hasn't been an issue in my area because many local pools are open. I wonder if they require a mask while in the pool!?

LOL...no masks in the pool ...could be mistaken for water boarding!

The number of infections is increasing by thousands everyday, with no end in sight—nothing that will even slow it down. Unless something changes the current rate of infection, the closing of pools will be a forgotten inconvenience.

Government is reacting as planned. Monitor hot spots and take action as indicated by data. No one had a picture of how quickly opening bars would reignite growth. They have been reclosed where there are issues. Curve will flatten again in a couple of weeks without the more drastic ineffective actions.

All the medical experts had a vivid picture of how re-opening prematurely would result in another surge of the virus. Businesses, impatient people, and a misguided President, only worried about his re-election in terms if the economy; disregarded the medical authority and pressed to re-open. I am not a genius, but I was appalled that people thought it acceptable to mingle and mix in bars and parties, and on the beaches.
The progress we made in flattening out the virus has now been lost—and we start over.
This country is clueless.

I agree with the start of your third sentence.

But don’t agree that you have ESP.

We’ll see what happens over the next month.

I did no say I have ESP. I said I agreed with the medical authorities who predicted that a premature reopening would result in a surge of infections—like over 50,000 yesterday, over 10,000 in the state where I live,
Over the next month, the surge will continue as bad, if not worse, than the last two weeks,
This isn’t hard.

"You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows" and you don't have to have ESP to see that the virus is out of control, and there is NOTHING in place to slow it down or stop it.
Today Trump said it is under control--he is a liar, and he is lying about the pending deaths of thousands of Americans.

TDS is the primary incurable disease here.

Trump team actions saved the lives of millions of Americans while Biden was calling him xenophobic for stopping travel from China and Europe Feb 1 and Pelosi was invoting people to Chinatown the end of February.

So easy to ignore facts when brainWashed by fake news.

Oh, and there were no issues with ICUs of ventilators. Funny how that worked out.

Previously he killed quite a few by insisting the virus was a hoax among other stupid tweets.

The real "new" problem would be if mosquitoes could spread this virus. It's just a thought.
Awful thought isn't it?
