Going up $15, and for that they've added:
BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land, and VH1.

Nothing of interest to me. Sad news.

So that brings it up from 49 to $64?

$64.99 (plus sales tax in WA). I only watch MLB and college basketball. Which means my smart tv has not been on since mid-March when I paused my subscription.

This puts the price in the same range as Comcast, which I think is a better system. I quit Youtube TV when the they raised the price the first time

I have a separate subscription for MLB online which in a "normal" year would allow me to watch every game of every team for six months.

I'll probably go back to Spectrum cable tv this winter when/if college basketball resumes. Can't ever give up internet, though - not as long as UHH exists

Is that UP per week, per month, per year, per what.

Here's their announcement:

As we pass the 3-year mark for our service, we want to sincerely thank you for being part of our journey and share a few updates on the future of YouTube TV.

We built YouTube TV to bring you the best of live TV, delivered how you want it, without commitments. Since our launch, we’ve listened to your feedback and worked to build an experience that fits the needs of everyone in your household.

Today we are also adding more of ViacomCBS’s family of channels to YouTube TV, which includes 8 of your favorites: BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land, and VH1.

To continue delivering the best content and service possible, we’re also updating our price for new and existing members to $64.99/month. Your base membership price will change on 08/28/2020. To check on the status of your account, go to your Settings > Membership page for updated information.

We don’t make these decisions lightly, and we realize how hard this may be for our members. This new price reflects the rising costs of content, and we also believe it reflects the complete value of YouTube TV. In addition to the 85+ live channels, YouTube TV is the only streaming service that includes a DVR with unlimited storage space (with content saved for 9 months), plus 6 accounts per household, each with its own unique recommendations, and 3 concurrent streams. It’s all included in the base cost of YouTube TV, with no contract and no hidden fees. You can see how we compare to other offerings in the industry here.
We hope YouTube TV continues to be your service of choice, but we also understand that some members may want to cancel their service. All members have the flexibility to pause (your current library recordings will be kept) or cancel anytime.

You can find more information in the YouTube TV Help Center and our recent blog post.
Thanks for being part of YouTube TV.

I had a brain cramp, sorry. Per month.

Interesting to see that DWU2's subscription price changes in August. My email says October 4, which I guess is because I had paused my membership until September.

The difference between pausing and cancelling is that with pausing your set-up and preferences are saved, including the shows, teams etc you want to record, along with any customized display list of channels you created for the daily schedule.

When I dropped Spectrum cable in favor of UTube TV, Spectrum offered me their internet version at $36/month, which they pointed out was $14 cheaper tha UTube TV. I declined, citing as a reason Spectrum’s constant price increases. Now that YouTube TV has bumped it’s price by a whopping 30%, I’m going to revisit that decision (especially since it’s UTube’s 3rd price increase since 2018).

I just checked that last evening. I can pay $24 and get no channels I want, lol. Not even ESPN was included. I do get the four local networks (and their little digital-age-born offshoots of ancient re-runs) quite well via a $28 antenna that looks like an oversized mouse pad and sticks to my wall

Chris, do you know that it has never been called U-Tube? I read a funny article about the company with that name that went through some pain with their website when You-Tube started up

I think I pay about $200.00 a month for TV and all the assorted things related to cable. I will take another look-see at the monthly invoice.

The two channels?

With Spectrum I had to pay for the extra packages in order to get some of the sports channels I wanted. That's why You-Tube TV appealed to me: they have every sports channel I watched (for college basketball) except Pac 12. This thread will probably talk me into re-enlisting in December

Not happy about this. Going to shop around for a better deal.
