After two days of rain I went out for a sniff of air and found that the bees were a'buzzin. I sat down with my cameras and started shooting.
The bees seemed to like most flowers, especially my wife's prized Heritage Rose, Foxglove, all over our property, and California Blackberry blossoms.
I Luv me some bees and bee photos. I took 562 images in just over an hour-honey do projects unfinished needed attention. Perhaps some more today! I do hope to get right in with the bees. Best shots are in with critters, I believe!!!
D500, Nikkor 200-500 f5.6, and D7200 Nikkor 85 DX f3.5. Some shots were handheld as the bees were really moving around yesterday. Could not get closer than about 6 feet before the bee would move, so some cropping was a necessary to tell the story and bring out the critter (bee).
Please view in Download as these hard-working critters deserve it!
Enjoy!
