What about Joe Biden slandering a man for many many years by saying that a drunk driver killed his wife. The guy was not drunk at all, and his wife was deemed "at fault" in the accident. The family begged him for years to set the record straight and he refused to do so. Or Biden claiming that he was "shot at" in Iraq. Or Biden claiming on camera to have college degrees that were nonexistent. Or Biden claiming to be "arrested" in South Africa.
These are just the tip of the iceberg. There is a video recording going around of all the mainstream media people in the 1990's just slamming Biden for big whopper lies during his first presidential campaign. It is what sunk him so quickly.
