I needed a big crop on the plant hopper. I saw the jumper just after it caught the wolf spider.

looks like the jumper is eating a jumper,nice catch.i saw the same thing yesterday.i put my hand in front of the small jumper to herd it away but the big jumper ran under my hand and caught the small one.just like i wasnt there

I went back for a meal ID, but the jumper was finished and on the hunt again. We seem to have mostly all black ones that I stopped trying to get a good picture of.

Those big front eyes on the spider remind me of the front end of a 30s car... It is cute as heck, but probably not if you are its prey....
