That they were. I just wish I had had more time to compose my shots. I was on a tour and they rushed us from one area to the next.

Those roots might not belong to the tree in the canopy. Strangler figs grow from seeds that land on another tree and surround the original tree, sometimes killing it.

Quite possible. I was on a guided tour and they rushed us from one area to another. Saw them and quickly tried to to capture them the best I could.
