A thousand Black men signed up to fight in the war just after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, forming the 54th Massachusetts Regiment. These are men who, if they were captured in the south, would be enslaved or murdered. But this cause was so important to them, they signed up to go fight for their freedom.
So BLM/Anti-Fa vandalized this memorial to the 54th Regiment, why???

I'll be surprised if it was ANTIFA or BLM. My guess is was just punk kids being anti-social and trying to stir up emotions. They succeeded; this pisses me off.

May be true, but the memorial had "BLM Matters" and "RIP George Floyd" and "ACAB", etc. spray painted all over it. Whoever did this, if they were in support of BLM, they got it very wrong.
