Self-guided tour. Didn't know until we started to head back to the car that our driver was discreetly following us to make sure we didn't get lost.

Very nice, Mark, you are a braver man than me.

Thanks for viewing Mike. My wife and daughter were in tow, actually more in the lead, and it certainly was intimidating at times simply because we stood out from the crowd so much.

Very interesting but not on my travel wish list! Looks like a movie set. Still, you must have alot of great memories!

More memories than you could imagine. The main purpose of the trip was the India version of my daughter’s wedding; had the US wedding then 6 months prior.
Thanks for viewing.

Beautiful, in a strange country Mark. I would be afraid.

Bangalore is the "silicon valley" of India. The entire country is fascinating and takes years to explore. In a market like the one pictured, there is nothing to be afraid of except slipping on a vegetable!

To be truthful, Mike, we were more afraid of the traffic. White-knuckle on the armrest was the norm.

In retrospect, I agree. It wasn't until I saw our driver get closer to us with a worried look on his face and tilt his head pointing "that way (out)" that raised my concerns.

Was in Delhi a couple of years ago w/a couple of other photographers (one a pro & the other an advanced amateur — more advanced than me). We were out walking around on a street, and noticed being noticed by a surly crowd. We decided the best option would be to return to our hotel.

Later in the trip, got some really good shots; the people we met were friendly. Interesting architecture!

Thanks for viewing. During the same time (2012) of our trip, part of the family went home via a few days in Delhi. Afterward they mentioned the need to be more aware than the typical tourist.
