On the way to Mirror Lake, just off of Utah 150 there is a turn off for the Provo River Falls. These falls have a short hiking trail and a very nice view of the valley you have traveled from Kamas.

Because the source of the water is primarily snow melt and mountain springs, the water is cold.

During this time of year the flow gave me a great opportunity for one of my favorite subjects - running water.

I did not have the correct lens for birds, Ken. What I saw was too far away for a 24 - 70. Give me a PM if you decide to come out.
