Cheers Mike...they are a pretty big bird, at lest twice the size of a Silver Gull...

While gulls are lovely in flight there are some serious problems for those who live with them around. For a time I worked in an office in an old shopping center that had rented unused commercial space to my company. (We later moved to a newer building.) The parking lot had a lot of gulls that would perch on the light standards. Lots of messy droppings on cars in some areas. Some of my fellow workers had lived close to the coast at one time. Their term for gulls was “sea rats”. The center later was remodeled as non-covered (the trend at the time) with a street where the center aisle used to be.
