I have found a battery source with excellent pricing and carrying all major brands and sizes. It is OnlyBatteries.com. I use their AccuPower AA NiMH cells advertised at 2900 mAh. Keep in mind that ALL brands tend to overstate their actual capacity. However I consistently get 2500-2600 mAh out of these and they hold charge as well as my eneloops. I would put these on par with Ladda 2450s from Ikea. These cells are priced at $4.89 each but quantity packs will reduce the unit cost. Shipping is fast and accurate. Good company with which to do business. Just thought you should know.

Actually I use a PowerEX charger. Any good NiMH charger that measures mAh will do.
Good information. Thanks!
