Kern River Sunday Stroll

I decided to try out some birding with my 200-500 Nikon on my D810. Took a stroll on the path along the Riverwalk by the Kern River on the west side of Bakersfield. I didn’t expect to see much but I was pleasantly surprised to find some good subjects in the late afternoon light.

Nicely done. I especially like the egret. The composition well balanced and the bokeh enhances the image. Good preservation of highlights. 👍

Nice set of sharp photos. The piper is a Killdeer. Love that nice sharp killdeer and the egret.
