I spotted this small Hologopon Robber Fly on a Magnolia leaf this morning. I knew it had something but I couldn't tell what it was until I got it up on the computer.... Not the best of images as I was only able to get off two shots before it flew away...Needless to say, it was a juvenile spider as Hologopons are really small Robber Flies.

Nice catch! It’s always a treat to see something that β€œwasn’t” there until closer examination.

Nice catch! I enjoy watching the Robber Flies as they hunt. They are lightning fast and they often pick their prey out of the air.
