When researching a potential vendor that I have not heard of or done business with in the past, I tend to pay attention to a couple of resources.

The most obvious is a Google search, but one must be careful to "weed out" the fake review sites, etc.

For photo, camera, and electronic purchases, I rely heavily on ResellerRatings.com (and occasionally on the BBB website). In your case, I'd suggest you look at their reviews:

I seem to remember purchasing something from them (Deals all year) several years ago without major issue, but cannot say so with enough certainty to recommend them. I do not know enough about the a99ii to make an informed recommendation regarding that product.

Good luck with your decision!

If you don’t mind gray market products, they are easy to work with, I got a great deal on a Nikon D500 with a one year sellers warranty several years ago.

You can also get A Squaretrade warranty. Great company. Check them out. squaretrade.com.

I have noticed that sales at B&H and Adorama almost never have anything A-mount on sale. I hope I don't have to buy something I'm not comfortable using just to upgrade my system, and I don't really want to sell everything and change manufacturers. I currently have an a77.

So are you waiting for a sale ? Forget it. Sales are for popular items so as to increase traffic. My reading is that you really like your a77 and I can understand that as I use a similar model. I “built” mine from components:
1 a6500 body.
1 LA-EA2.
9 various A-mount lenses.

FYI the LA-EA2 contains a complete SLT system for AF. Body has 5-axis IS. It’s basically a complete a77II although it’s not as pretty as the real thing.
