Very creative photos

Oh yes, I remember sitting in front of the radio as my imagination goes wild. Listening to 'Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of man? The Shadow knows! Thanks for bringing back and almost forgotten memory.

Hey, got a decent few years before that four score milestone, remember a lot of shows. The whole family gathered around a console radio - magic!

Thanks, the old movie serials very kinda cool. There was a 1994 movie with Alec Baldwin as the Shadow.

Used to get tapes at the library of old shows and listen to them at night.

Thing about radio, unlike even the rare, excellent Movie or Video which is limited by cost and what is technically possible, there are no limits to imagination.

Yeah, I like the old radio shows and movies where the music and your imagination helped develop the action. You don’t have to see the head cut off, but you can visualize it. Not really into the gory stuff, but give an old Frankenstein or Werewolf movie and I’m in.

Children less than seventy will have to show some type of knowlege about the subject before discussing anything about The Shadow. LOL

I used to 'watch' radio at my grandmother's home. When the adults were off talking, I 'watched' the Lone Ranger on her console radio. Stretched out on the floor, there was a little red jewel light near the bottom and i stared at it while Silver raced along. When the first Lone Ranger. black and white TV show came on, it was very disappointing that Silver was not as white as he was on radio!!! Some years later, I got a personal tour of a radio studio and the sound effects. There I saw a pair of six inch turtle shells in a tray of sand making the perfect hoof sounds of Silver. Always wanted a six-shooter with silver bullets.....
