After the rain. Kind of beat down the 3 leafs/leaves in center and made white more transparent. The yellow feels like it is actually painted on the white leafs/leaves.

Dixiegirl,

Thank you. Yes they are really pretty. When I saw my first one I was surprised how the yellow actually felt like it was painted on the white petals. The purple petals are really pretty in combination with the white and yellow. My blooms several times a year, yet that is Florida.

Thank you, yes I believe the rain causes that effect. There is some plumbago plant behind and around the Lily thus it also contributes to that look.

John, I think maybe ours doesn't get enough sun.

Dixiegirl, that probably is why. My does get full sun for a good 6 plus hours depending on the day and time of year. And I mean full sun!
