Rafting trip on the Colorado River below Lake Powell

My wife and I went to visit my granddaughter in Flagstaff Az. While there we went to Page, Az for a rafting trip from the Dam at Lake Powell towards and stopping just short of Horseshoe Bend. To me it is the start of the Grand Canyon, not quite as massive but quite massive anyway. Breath taking while on the water.
There are some camp sites along this stretch and camping is permitted.
I have more, I'll post later when I find them, viewing from the top down, and horseshoe bend.

Very nice, Frank. I've done the Lee's Ferry to Phantom Ranch trip. What always amazes me in the photographs of river trips is how one can see the downhill flow of the river.

Thanks Bob... Lee's ferry will be the next trip maybe...I never noticed, till you mentioned it, and your right. The river is slightly downhill, and it's flowing in the right direction in each photo. Back to post. Now I'll be looking at river shots in a different way.

Beautiful set of canyon waterway photos. Not much chance of the river escaping that gorge.
